Wigs and Warpaint Live Project 

This module introduced me to the principles, theory and practice of fashion communication through the way fashion is promoted. I studied the practice of managing communication between an organisation and the public by exploring the relationships between people, products, brand and media in the design and implementation of a communication strategy. I was also introduced to the key areas within the role of a fashion communicator and developed my understanding of how fashion can be communicated and promoted creatively through the use of different media. We had to organise an event based on the theme of ‘neon tribe’ which we could take as literal or as abstract as we like. I decided to look into the way neon was first adapted and looked into voodoo rituals as my tribal aspect.
